Over the past 26 years of development, the zone has forged modern industrial clusters, the pillar industries being automobiles and components, electronics and appliances, and food and beverages.In the coming five years, the zone will focus on pushing for new breakthroughs in the transformation of economic development models and industrial restructuring, take the initiative to lead the country in industrial transformation and upgrading.
The Changjiang Aotecar Thermal Management Research Institute was unveiled in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Dec 20.
