Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) showcased its automotive prowess at the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Forum, held on July 27 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

A convoy spearheaded by the Voyah Titan X8 made debut at the event, marking the grand finale of the 2026 "China Auto Valley, Poetry on the Silk Road" series and the "Made in Wuhan, Global Journey" special event.

The series commenced in Wuhan on July 2, tracing the historic Silk Road Economic Belt and traversing through Shaanxi, Gansu, and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region before reaching Kyrgyzstan, telling the story of WEDZ's industrial evolution.

WEDZ representatives discussed the zone's industrial advancements and the automotive brand matrix, highlighting achievements and collaboration opportunities in the zone.

WEDZ, an industrial hub in Wuhan, is home to the headquarters, R&D center, and major production facilities for Dongfeng Motor that launched its high-end new energy vehicle brand Voyah.

Wuhan and Bishkek have enjoyed rich exchanges in government, trade, and culture since establishing a sister city relationship in 2016.
