Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) has launched a new residential hub for young professionals, offering furnished apartments ready for immediate occupancy and shared workspaces, fitness centers, and entertainment rooms.

The complex comprises over 400 apartments for young talents and seven dedicated residences for visiting scientists, which are available to local university graduates, skilled professionals, and participants in major talent initiatives.

The community also provides services such as talent support, industrial incubation, and housing assistance. Xu, a computer science graduate from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and one of the first young entrepreneurs to move in, praised the community for its convenience and pleasant living conditions.

It boasts an abundance of amenities within a 15-minute radius, including top-tier hospitals, commercial complexes such as Aeon Mall and Wanda Plaza, and cultural landmarks like the Wuhan Sports Center.

WEDZ has implemented a comprehensive talent initiative that focuses on housing as a key factor in attracting young scholars and fostering innovation. With 36 talent apartment projects and nearly 8,000 high-quality housing units reserved, this robust housing support network is instrumental in attracting approximately 22,000 young talents annually.

The community has attracted about 100,000 young talents and is expected to draw over 130,000 in the next three years, setting a benchmark for innovation and entrepreneurship in the city.
