Dongfeng Motor's overseas exports increased by 97 percent year-on-year in the first half of this year, with its overseas marketing network spanning 1,600 locations across more than 150 countries and regions, doubling sales in over 30 international markets.

Dongfeng Motor's Voyah brand opened its first flagship store in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this July, with temperatures soaring to 45 C. Despite the intense heat, the store is bustling with activity as local consumers gather around display vehicles for test drives.

"We've made specific adjustments for the high temperatures and sandy conditions of the Middle East, improving the air conditioning efficiency," said a representative of Voyah's overseas business.

In a nearby desert camp, the M-Hero off-road vehicle has earned a dedicated fan base in the local off-road community, earning the nickname "Desert Beast" for its outstanding performance.

Models such as Dongfeng Nammi and Dongfeng eπ have become market hits in Europe, Latin America, and Africa. The company has also introduced the V5 tractor, calibrated for Saudi Arabia's high-temperature desert and cross-border logistics scenarios.

To address the challenges of fruit transportation in Peru, Dongfeng has developed two delivery vehicles tailored for high-frequency urban deliveries and medium-to-short distance heavy loads.

In Southeast Asia, the company offers a full range of light, medium, and heavy trucks to support various industries such as logistics, ice-making, and trade, having delivered 830 units in a single batch to Malaysia and signing contracts for an additional 500. For the Australian right-hand-drive market, the company recently unveiled its Captain.45, the next generation of light smart logistics vehicle.

Dongfeng Motor is enhancing international industrial collaboration and innovating joint venture models, signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Stellantis Group in May and investing over 8 billion yuan ($1.18 billion) to accelerate its transformation towards intelligence and sustainability.
