The Zhongguancun Pilot Testing Laboratory in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), set to begin trial operations in July, aims to become a central hub for comprehensive industrial innovation.
The laboratory, developed by Zhongguancun Hardware Space, will focus on three primary sectors: new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, the low-altitude economy, and embodied robotics.
It will offer research and development, prototype manufacturing, testing and certification, and results implementation, addressing critical stages of innovation transformation.
The testing and certification project is fast-tracking its interior setup, emphasizing key functions such as environmental reliability testing, electromagnetic compatibility testing, software and information systems evaluation, and materials chemical testing.
The platform aims to expedite the mass production and implementation of small-batch samples, ensuring cutting-edge technologies from the laboratory quickly reach the production line.
Zhongguancun Hardware Space has established 22 pilot testing and certification laboratories across China, served more than 150,000 enterprises, and facilitated the industrialization of more than 2,000 advanced technologies.
