Youth delegates from the 2026 World Youth Development Forum visited the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on June 16 to explore its leading automotive innovations.
The visit included tours of prominent companies such as M-Hero Automotive, Intelligent Power, and Voyah Automotive.
M-Hero Automotive, a luxury electric off-road brand under Dongfeng Motor Corporation, presented its groundbreaking models, the M-Hero 917 and M-Hero M817.
Delegates delved into the brand's history and experienced the vehicles' robust capabilities firsthand, navigating challenging terrains such as hills, water crossings, and obstacles.
Intelligent Power specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of core components for new energy vehicles. Its electric drive systems, IGBT modules, and power battery solutions are integral to vehicles from brands such as Voyah, M-Hero, and Nissan.
Delegates witnessed the dynamic production line, observing machines and robotic arms in action, and even participated in the process by inserting copper wires into motor stators.
The delegates also explored advanced smart driving features, including voice-activated seat massage functions, and were impressed by the intelligent cabin and diverse driving scenarios.
Voyah Automotive, a pioneering high-end smart new energy vehicle brand based in Wuhan, showcased its comprehensive product lineup, which includes SUVs, MPVs, and sedans. In the assembly workshop, humanoid robots sorted parts as new models rolled off the production line.
Delegates toured the facility, test-drove the vehicles, and expressed their admiration, stating, "These cars look amazing; I want to take one home."
