A national AI agent competition, centered on technical challenges and scenario implementation, took place on June 11 in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), with live connections to sub-venues in Xi'an, Shijiazhuang, and Guangzhou, aiming to identify top-tier teams and projects while fostering the conversion of innovative achievements in the zone.
WEDZ is advancing the development of its industrial innovation corridor by establishing new campuses for Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University of Technology, creating a 1 billion yuan ($147 million) fund, and pioneering an OPC (one-person company) community.
The zone has attracted over 200 AI enterprises, forming a comprehensive industrial chain focused on intelligent connected vehicles and encompassing foundational, technical, and application segments.
The Chinese acceleration chip software adaptation center was launched, offering services including chip adaptation, operator optimization, and large-model migration.
Two AI OPC communities and an AI large model electronic textbook project were also launched.
Experts delivered speeches on building a developer ecosystem in the era of AI agents, developing accelerated computing infrastructure, and integrating AI into healthcare.
