Lotus Cars has launched For Me, known internationally as the Eletre X, in the European market.

The vehicle, available in two models: the entry-level H550 and the flagship H1000, is manufactured at the company's state-of-the-art Lotus smart factory in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), the world's first automotive production base to integrate "digital twin" technology.

This approach enables seamless coordination between virtual and physical production lines, reducing the ramp-up period to just three months and ensuring high-quality, efficient overseas deliveries.

This vehicle's launch is a key component of Lotus's "Focus 2030" initiative, which aims to position the brand as the first global sports car manufacturer to offer a full range of internal combustion, pure-electric, and super-hybrid power systems.

Lotus has also made headlines with its entry into the Brazilian market, marking a significant milestone for British sports car brands in the region.

In North America, Lotus has made significant strides by exporting the Eletre to Canada in bulk, becoming the first Chinese car brand to do so since the country reduced tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles in March. Lotus currently operates six authorized dealerships in Canada, with plans to double this number by the end of the year.

In China, Lotus' For Me has been met with enthusiasm, with new customer demographics accounting for 50 percent of sales and high-end model selections exceeding 70 percent. Meanwhile, the company's dealership network is expanding from approximately 50 stores in 2025 to 63, with a target of 80 by the end of 2026.

Lotus Emira 420 Sport was launched on May 28, setting a new benchmark as the lightest and most aerodynamically advanced Emira model to date. Meanwhile, the new Type 135 super hybrid sports car is slated for release in 2028, featuring Lotus's newly developed V8 hybrid power unit.

Feng Qingfeng, CEO of Lotus Group, said the brand's core strengths lie in lightweight construction, aerodynamics, and ultimate driving control.
