Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) concluded its 2026 spring campus recruitment event on May 22 at Hubei Land Resources Vocational College.

The event featured the participation of 40 major enterprises in the zone, including Dongfeng Yipai, Wuhan Midea, and ZF, offering over 1,300 positions in the fields of new energy, smart manufacturing, automotive electronics, and cultural tourism services.

The recruitment drive attracted more than 10,000 job seekers. "The in-depth collaboration between our school and companies in WEDZ enables us to engage with real production scenarios," said a student from the college's School of Automotive and Electromechanical Engineering who was submitting a resume to Dongfeng Yipai. "I am confident about securing a technical position that aligns with my major."

The event featured a diverse array of positions, including roles such as automation technicians, equipment engineers, and management trainees, catering to the varied career aspirations of students from different disciplines.

WEDZ staff members also addressed graduates' key concerns about talent apartments, entrepreneurship support, and discounts on housing and car purchases, providing guidance on talent policies and ensuring that all benefits reach the job seekers as intended.

WEDZ has hosted 10 campus recruitment events this year, with over 11,000 graduates choosing to build their careers and entrepreneurial ventures in the zone.
