The 2026 Versigent Supplier Conference convened on May 20 in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), bringing together over 100 suppliers and more than 300 industry guests from across the globe.
Versigent, a global leader in the specialized design and advanced manufacturing of low and high-voltage electrical architectures, went public on the New York Stock Exchange this April.
The company has been investing in WEDZ since 2007, establishing significant projects, including an electrical systems production base and an electrical distribution systems manufacturing plant. Its R&D center, which is set to become operational by June, focuses on the research, production, and sales of high- and low-voltage harnesses.
WEDZ is a thriving hub for the automotive industry, currently home to nine vehicle manufacturers, 14 vehicle factories, and over 1,400 auto parts companies. The zone has attracted 30 of the world's top 50 auto parts companies, achieving annual production and sales of 1 million vehicles.
"China's automotive industry is at the forefront of the global transformation in electronic and electrical architecture," said Qi Song, global vice-president of Versigent. The company is eager to collaborate with partners to develop locally adapted product solutions, aiming to create a more efficient and reliable collaborative ecosystem and achieve mutual success.
