Zero Digital Technology Co in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) has achieved remarkable success in the digital creative industry. The company is recognized for developing the digital 3D model of Beijing's central axis for the 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony and the naked-eye 3D light show at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Li Zhenbo, general manager of Zero Digital, views AI as a tool that boosts creativity and problem-solving. He compares AI to a paintbrush, noting that its effectiveness depends on the user's skill. In Zero Digital's creative process, AI handles 70 percent of the work, but Li stresses the importance of the remaining 30 percent, which depends on human creativity, aesthetics, and cultural insight.

Creativity requires technology to come to life. When technology falls short, new creativity steps in to fill the gap. This is not compromise, but capability," Li said. He believes that truly impactful work connects with audiences emotionally, providing value that technology alone cannot offer.

Li is dedicated to his "cultural tourism + technology" strategy, focusing on dome cinema content, IP development, and scenic light and sound night tours. Zero Digital has delivered over 100 high-quality cultural tourism offerings across China.

The company has produced eight copyrighted flying films and is planning a new film titled "Retracing the Long March" to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Red Army's Long March. Although flying cinemas are still emerging in China and digital copyrights require long-term investment, Li remains confident in their potential. Over the next three years, Zero Digital aims to develop more than four new original digital works annually.

Li and Zero Digital's two-decade journey mirrors the growth of China's digital creative industry. The company continues to explore new possibilities at the intersection of digital vision and cultural tourism.
