The Union Hospital WEDZ branch has unveiled its Colorectal Surgery Department, featuring a team of seasoned medical professionals specializing in treating colorectal diseases.
The department is dedicated to delivering standardized and regulated care through minimally invasive, efficient, and painless treatment methods. Patients will have access to a full spectrum of services, including disease screening, precise diagnosis, personalized treatment plans, and postoperative rehabilitation guidance.
The branch currently offers more than 10 specialty treatments, including cardiovascular surgery, pediatric surgery, and acupuncture. It has also established several specialized centers, including the Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Women and Children Center.
The branch plans to further develop specialized subdisciplines and disease centers, with a focus on areas such as wound healing, dialysis, and geriatric bone disease. It will also establish a comprehensive care continuum, encompassing "pre-hospital emergency care, in-hospital treatment, and rehabilitation follow-up".
It will also integrate resources from ophthalmology, ENT, and dentistry to create a coordinated treatment system for sensory organ diseases, providing patients with one-stop diagnostic and treatment services.
