The Tanghu Museum of Art in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) unveiled a captivating exhibition on Sept 7, featuring the works of Dong Xinmin, Chu Deyuan, Gao Mingfeng, and Ma Chungang.
This exhibition highlights the artists' innovative explorations in painting, calligraphy, and seal carving, aiming to foster a curatorial dialogue that transcends mediums and time through the interplay of physical and mental imagery.
An artwork donation ceremony was also held as part of the event, with each of the four participating artists donating a piece to the museum. Certificates of Collection were also presented to the artists in recognition of their contributions.

Wang Xinyao, the museum's director, emphasized that the exhibition serves as a call to reshape the conscious subjectivity of Eastern aesthetics. Through their distinct artistic languages, the four artists transform cultural heritage into vibrant contemporary expressions.
Gao Mingfeng, a professor at Jianghan University, noted that although the artists differ in their creative fields and styles, they share a commitment to the contemporary transformation of traditional media, striving to convert cultural heritage into contemporary expression.
The exhibition will remain open to the public free of charge until Oct 12.
