Junshan Experimental Foreign Languages School, inaugurated in 2024, is a pivotal institution for less commonly taught languages under the auspices of Wuhan Foreign Languages School (WFLS).

Situated in the Junshan New City in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), this school marks a significant expansion of WFLS's educational reach.

WFLS, established in 1964, has a distinguished legacy of cultivating foreign language and diplomatic talents. Over the past six decades, the school has produced more than 200 alumni in the diplomatic field, including eight ambassadors and over 30 counselors.

WFLS's connection with WEDZ is well-established, with its primary and middle school divisions already located in the zone. In 2019, WFLS further solidified this partnership by co-founding the WEDZ Foreign Languages School.

As the third educational initiative by WFLS in WEDZ, Junshan Experimental Foreign Languages School offers comprehensive primary and middle school education, accommodating up to 36 classes.

Beyond enhancing English instruction, the school is dedicated to providing courses in French and Japanese.

The school also places a strong emphasis on fostering scientific and technological innovation. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including an artificial intelligence lab and a makerspace, designed to nurture the next generation of innovators and thinkers.
