Xinlian Xin (Wuhan) Semiconductor Co has deployed its first R&D team at the iFLYTEK Industrial Acceleration Center to develop groundbreaking 3D phase change memory (PCM) technology. The project, targeting AI computing networks and data centers, promises annual revenues of 80 million yuan ($11 million) upon completion.

Specializing in innovative memory solutions, the company's PCM technology utilizes reversible material states and vertical stacking architecture to enhance data density and speed while reducing costs. "Our approach overcomes current performance bottlenecks in AI-driven applications," said an executive from the company.

This initiative will strengthen Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone's semiconductor ecosystem, collaborating with iFLYTEK's over 210 tech firms. This positions China to challenge global memory leaders such as Samsung in next-generation storage solutions.
