Hubei Siengine Technology Co has achieved a significant milestone with the patent authorization of its two flagship products, the "Xingchen One" chip and the "Longying One" chip.

Facilitated by the Wuhan Intellectual Property Protection Center, this fast-track approval process has reduced average authorization time to just three months.

"This swift authorization is a testament to our technological prowess, aiding us in securing projects, attracting investments, and fostering client collaborations," said a representative of Siengine Technology.

The "Xingchen One" chip, designed for advanced full-scenario assisted driving, addresses a critical gap in domestically produced intelligent driving chips with equivalent computing power.

It is set to be supplied to two Geely Galaxy models and has garnered interest from several major automotive manufacturers, with large-scale deployment expected next year.

The "Longying One" smart cockpit chip has also benefited from this expedited process. Having shipped over 1.5 million units, it is utilized in Lynk & Co and FAW Hongqi models, leading the domestic market for cockpit chips.

The driving force behind this "Wuhan speed" is the efficient patent pre-examination mechanism operated by the Wuhan Intellectual Property Protection Center, which has established a patent pre-examination "fast lane" for high-value patents from registered companies.

Those meeting the standards receive an "acceleration mark", allowing them to enter a fast-track channel with the National Intellectual Property Administration. This process increases review efficiency, securing authorization in an average of 2 to 3 months.

To further streamline the process, the center has implemented a "whitelist" mechanism, providing a "VIP channel" for specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises such as Siengine Technology.

"Whitelist enterprises only take an average of seven working days from submitting pre-examinations to completion," the representative said, highlighting that the selection considers the company's innovation strength, patent quality, and commercialization capability.

The center is committed to optimizing pre-examination services for specialized and innovative enterprises within key industries. In the first half of the year, it registered 2,538 innovative entities, including 1,742 national high-tech enterprises, reinforcing Wuhan's position as a national hub for scientific and technological innovation.
