Three industrial pilot platforms in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) have been selected as provincial-level manufacturing pilot platforms.
Among them, the Hubei Advanced Functional Materials Pilot Platform is dedicated to innovation in artificial intelligence and the pilot engineering development of advanced functional materials.
It has established comprehensive models for material innovation and intelligent testing bodies, creating an AI-powered service model that covers research and development, pilot testing, and commercialization of new materials.
With multiple pilot lines for battery materials, aerogels, organosilicon materials, microcapsules, and more, the platform has industrialized over 20 technological achievements to date.
The Nonferrous Metal Material Preparation and Forming Pilot Platform comprises four sub-platforms: high-performance titanium alloy powder preparation and forming, copper-nickel-tin alloy preparation, complex component laser selective melting forming equipment, and metal additive manufacturing powder design and preparation.
The pilot platform has undertaken engineering verification, technological refinement, and process optimization, culminating in the development of advanced metal materials such as titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, high-temperature alloys, and various high-efficiency and high-precision SLM equipment.
The Digital Software Development Pilot Platform for Transportation Infrastructure has also been included on the list.
These remarkable achievements can be largely attributable to WEDZ's focus on resource consolidation, platform development, and entity nurturing. This strategic approach aims to drive the practical application of technological breakthroughs in traditional industries, emerging sectors, and future industries.
