Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) has announced that two of its industrial internet platforms have been included on the 2025 Hubei Provincial Industrial Internet Platform Recognition List.

The two platforms are the Meritar Manufacturing Supply Chain Management Platform and the Digital Construction and Service Cloud Platform for Transportation Infrastructure.

Meritar utilizes advanced technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things to enable intelligent management of production processes, collaborative optimization of supply chains, and precise control of product quality.

This platform offers customized solutions for a variety of industries and scenarios, aiding enterprises in reducing costs and boosting efficiency. It currently serves over 1,190 enterprises across more than 20 provinces and cities in China, spanning nine industries, with over 9,000 devices and vehicles connected to the cloud.

The transportation infrastructure platform integrates essential technologies such as BIM data exchange, mechanistic models, image recognition and analysis, multimodal data fusion and interaction, and multi-agent collaboration and integration.

The platform enhances the capabilities of engineering IoT, big data, engineering AI, and digital twins, supporting applications in deep design, scheme compilation, virtual construction, and digital decision-making.

These achievements are part of WEDZ's broader efforts to deepen the integration of the digital economy with the real economy through initiatives like the "Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing" action plan. WEDZ has nurtured five industrial internet platforms at the provincial level and above.

A WEDZ official said, "We will continue to advance the 'Artificial Intelligence +' initiative, accelerating the integration of big data, cloud computing, 5G, IoT, and other AI technologies with manufacturing."
