The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) has been recognized as a Provincial Intellectual Property (IP) Service Cluster Development Zone.
This achievement follows the establishment of several key IP initiatives, including the Wuhan (Automotive and Parts) IP Fast Protection Center, the National IP Powerhouse Construction Pilot Park, and the Hubei Province Automotive Industry IP Operation Center. These milestones enhance IP integration with local industries, technology, and economic growth.
In a collaborative effort to further develop the IP service cluster, WEDZ has signed an agreement with the Patent Examination Cooperation Hubei Center of the State Intellectual Property Office, the Provincial Patent Agency Industry Association, the Provincial IP Service Association, and the Municipal IP Service Association.
Using the Nantaizi Lake Innovation Valley, the Artificial Intelligence Science Park, and the Zhigu Cultural Industry Park, WEDZ is committed to the Hubei IP Service Cluster Development Zone's high-quality development. It will consolidate IP agency, legal protection, and result transformation services, creating a comprehensive one-stop system.
WEDZ has also established the Overseas Dispute Response Guidance Center workstation, which provides regional enterprises with full-chain support, including dispute warnings and strategic guidance, to navigate international IP disputes.
