Fabien Dumont, global executive vice-president of Autoliv, and his delegation visited the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Oct 10.
They held discussions with Tang Chao, director of the WEDZ's administrative committee.
Tang hoped that both parties would continue to use their strengths to deepen cooperation and pursue high-quality development. He emphasized that WEDZ will provide proactive services and strengthen resource support to fully assist Autoliv in enhancing its operations.
Fabien Dumont expressed gratitude for WEDZ's strong support over the years. He stated that Autoliv plans to further deepen cooperation with WEDZ in areas such as vehicle safety system development, technological innovation and application, and the iterative update of automotive safety, aiming for mutual benefits and a win-win outcome.

Autoliv and WEDZ have a longstanding partnership, with Autoliv investing in a branch of its China Technical Center in the zone. The Wuhan branch opened in March 2023 and focuses on the research and development of automotive safety system products.
