The Dongfeng Auto Mall Livestream Center in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) commenced operations on July 25.

Established through collaboration between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and WEDZ, this pioneering center is the first of its kind in China, offering integrated online and physical "one-stop car services" for customers.

The center is located in the main stadium of the Wuhan Sports Center and spans nearly 2,000 square meters. It focuses on several key business areas, including automobile brand promotion, car sales, technical talent training, and industrial study tours.

The center brings together five of Dongfeng's independent new energy brands: Dongfeng Lantu, Dongfeng Warrior Technology, Dongfeng Nano, Dongfeng Yipai, and Dongfeng Fengshen. It offers personalized livestream content and scenario-based livestream settings, creating an online multi-brand livestream matrix.

Additionally, the center features disassembly livestreams, providing viewers with direct insight into Dongfeng's car manufacturing prowess, and integrates industrial tourism projects, thereby telling a compelling "Dongfeng Story.”

WEDZ hosts Dongfeng's headquarters and R&D center and serves as an important production base for both passenger and new energy vehicles. In January, WEDZ and Dongfeng Motor signed a strategic cooperation agreement to build a global innovation center.

Peng Yuanpu, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Motor, stated that the establishment of the center exemplifies the active efforts of both parties to foster new productivity and promote the organic integration of the automotive industry with the digital economy.

Tang Chao, deputy Party secretary of WEDZ, mentioned that the center will utilize interactive methods such as "viewing, playing, testing, and listening" to continuously and effectively convey new brands, technologies, functions, and scenarios to consumers, assisting Dongfeng Motor in better connecting with the market.
