The Beidou Application Conference, also known as the 13th Annual China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Service, is set to be held in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) in mid-September, according to a local media report on July 5.
The event, which will be organized by the GNSS and LBS Association of China, will gather academicians, experts, and industry representatives from across the nation to discuss Beidou technological innovation, application advancements, and the future of large-scale Beidou applications and high-quality industry development.
The conference will feature high-end forums and roundtable discussions focusing on technological innovation, industry development, sector services, public applications, and policy regulations, as well as business matchmaking activities to attract a range of industrial investment projects.
Additionally, the event will see the release of the 2024 China Beidou Industry Development Index, the finals of the 2024 7th "Beidou Star" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the presentation of the "2024 Satellite Navigation and Positioning Science and Technology Award".
WEDZ is committed to innovation-driven development, focusing on the intelligent connected vehicles application scenario in order to enhance infrastructure, set application benchmarks, and foster the growth of Beidou industrial chain enterprises. It has seen significant expansion in the scale of Beidou system applications in the automotive sector.
WEDZ plans to leverage the conference to build an innovative development ecosystem for the Beidou application industry.
