The National Highway G318 stretches from Shanghai to Tibet, extending 5,476 kilometers from east to west and traversing China's eastern, central, and western regions. It encompasses a variety of landscapes including plains, hills, basins, mountains, and plateaus.
On the evening of June 14, at two key points along National Highway G318 – Wuhan and Ya'an – the Dongfeng eπ 008 and the VOYAH FREE 318 were launched, enriching the new energy vehicle (NEV) product lineup in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).
VOYAH, a superior electric vehicle brand developed by Dongfeng Motor Co in WEDZ, has built a product catalogue spanning SUVs, MPVs, and sedans since its brand launch.
The VOYAH FREE 318, a road tripper, is VOYAH's first new product this year. It has been refreshed and upgraded in multiple ways, including appearance, range, performance, intelligence, and safety.
One hour before the official launch of the VOYAH FREE in Ya'an, the Dongfeng eπ 008 was launched and began deliveries at the Wuhan Sports Center, over 1,200 kilometers away. Last November, Dongfeng Motor Co launched the new eπ series, with plans to release over 10 models within three years.

Yu Fei, general manager of the Dongfeng eπ marketing division, introduced the eπ 008 as a family-oriented intelligent large SUV. The eπ 008 features a length of over 5 meters, a wheelbase of over 3 meters, and a spacious six-seat layout, offering plenty of space and comfortable seating. Its intelligent cockpit offers over 300 customizable options.
In April this year, the eπ 008 successfully completed a comprehensive long-distance test, encountering various scenarios, and was made available for pre-sale, receiving over 10,000 orders within five hours.
