Hubei Changjiang EVschain Technology Co recently registered in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ). The company's Changjiang EVschain platform will serve the provincial automobile supply chain by reshaping the industrial chain and value chain, while also driving the development of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).
The platform, controlled and operated by the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, will be introduced to industry resources by China EV100, transforming it into a State-owned, socially funded, and professionally operated public service platform.
WEDZ plans to increase its investment in the Changjiang EVschain Fund by 100 million yuan ($14.1 million), attracting social capital to expand the fund scale from its current 500 million yuan to 1 billion yuan.
The zone has allocated 500 million yuan to support the platform's construction and operation. Of this amount, 300 million yuan will be used to support platform construction development, industrial chain supply and demand matching, and financing services. Another 200 million yuan will be used to guide the integration of innovative resources with the demands of the automobile industry.
Currently, more than 2,900 complete vehicle and auto parts enterprises, including Dongfeng and Lotus, have joined the Changjiang EVschain platform. It has also aggregated data from over 1,500 chip, battery, and connector enterprises, leading in data scale among similar platforms.
