On March 15, the China EV100 Forum 2024 kicked off in Beijing. Renowned experts, scholars, and guests from government departments, research institutions, and enterprises gathered to discuss industry transformation trends and explore new paths for industry development, under the theme "Consolidating and Expanding the Advantages of New Energy Vehicle (NEV)Development".
On the first day of the forum, Tang Chao, director of the management committee of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), delivered a keynote speech that introduced the practices implemented in the "Auto Valley of China", including constructing a vehicle-city-internet platform and deepening the coordinated development of vehicles, urban roads and cities.
Tang introduced that the WEDZ, as the core pilot area, has boldly explored and taken the lead in constructing the nation's first vehicle-city-internet platform, and establishing a closed-loop test and a simulation environment for a cooperative vehicle infrastructure system.

"In the future, the WEDZ will work to enhance the efficiency of intelligent connected vehicle research and development, by training AI via AI, and relying on large-scale model simulations to generate a substantial amount of real-time traffic data," added Tang.
Tang further stated that the WEDZ will deepen cooperation with enterprises such as Geely and Dongfeng in the field of navigation on autopilot (NOA).
The forum will last for three days, including one high-level forum, one international forum, two closed-door meetings, and 10 themed forums. This event aims to help enterprises respond to challenges, and build a new industrial ecosystem of cross-disciplinary integration and coordinated development.
