On March 11, JD Auto signed a contract for its new automobile parts supply chain project at the JD Group headquarters in Beijing. The project will settle in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), adding new impetus to the zone's new energy vehicle (NEV) industrial chain.
This project marks another investment attraction achievement for WEDZ this year, following the introduction of the China Mobile IoT Wuhan R&D Center project and the Wuhan Shanshan Outlets Commercial Complex project.
Liu Ziqing, secretary of the WEDZ's working committee, witnessed the signing with Ma Jie, vice president of JD Group, and Chen Haifeng, vice president of JD Auto. After the signing ceremony, they engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation and promoting high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket.
Liu went on to state that the signing of this project is thanks to mutual efforts by WEDZ and JD Auto. WEDZ is currently trying to establish a national demonstration zone for the development of the entire NEV industrial chain.
JD Auto, a brand under the umbrella of JD Group – a Fortune 500 company, boasts a one-stop sales service system that covers the full life cycle of vehicles.
The brand plans to collaborate with automotive enterprises and auto spare part manufacturers in WEDZ in order to continuously enhance the resilience of the automotive supply chain and industrial chain, thereby constructing a new ecosystem for the automotive industry.
