On the evening of Jan 18, Lotus's first all-electric supercar, EMEYA, was officially launched. The EMEYA utilizes Lotus's 800-volt high-performance charging architecture, achieving an acceleration of 0-60 miles per hour (mph) in just 2.78 seconds, 0-124 mph in under 9 seconds, and a top speed of 256 kilometers per hour.

"Lotus aspires to empower driving with technology, returning to driving's core essence," said Feng Qingfeng, CEO of Lotus Group. EMEYA features the most extensive active aerodynamics package in its class, designed for maximum aerodynamic bandwidth, providing a ground-hugging driving experience.
Of note, EMEYA is equipped with Lotus' intelligent driving system, incorporating 34 perception hardware components, including four lidar sensors, enabling high-speed road assistance and full-scene parking assistance. The name EMEYA is derived from the Arabic language, and conveys the meaning "blooming like a dream". It symbolizes freedom, inspiration, energy, and dreams.
The Lotus EMEYA will be produced in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), with delivery completed within six to eight weeks after ordering.
