The government work report of Hannan district in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, was released on Dec 62, forecasting a GDP target of 220 billion yuan ($30.65 billion) for the year.

The industrial output value of enterprises above a designated size in the district is also set to reach 358 billion yuan, and a year-on-year industrial growth of 5.5 percent.

Since August of this year, WEDZ has successively introduced three "three-year action plans" targeting technologies involved in pure electric, hybrid, and hydrogen energy vehicles.

On Dec 25, VOYAH produced its 50,000th vehicle this year. Since June, VOYAH has seen six consecutive increases in deliveries, with a cumulative growth of 129 percent in the first 11 months.

Earlier this month, Lotus exported over a hundred vehicles through the supply chain platform, with a total value of nearly 75 million yuan.

The hydrogen power building of Cummins' East Asia R&D Center has been completed and put into use this year. Additionally, Dongfeng launched its new energy brand eπ last month.

Currently, the Auto Valley's hydrogen energy layout spans the entire industrial chain, including fuel cells, vehicle manufacturing, inspection and testing, hydrogen production, hydrogen refueling station operations, and vehicle operations.

This year, the production of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in the zone has increased by 30 percent, accounting for 21 percent of the total automobile production growth. Two new NEV factories have been put into operation, adding a production capacity of 200,000 vehicles.

According to statistics, 30 companies have expanded their investments in the zone this year, which brought in a total of 61.97 billion yuan. The gross value of signed industrial projects in the zone this year has also exceeded 190 billion yuan.
