On Dec 16, the 11th Xuanyuan Award Ceremony occurred in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ). Tang Chao, director of the management committee of WEDZ, attended the event.

Three vehicle production models manufactured in WEDZ won the awards: the M-Hero 917 and VOYTAH Passion PHEV were honored as two of China's Top 10 Cars of the Year, while the 2024 VOYAH Dreamer received the Excellent Iteration Award.

Xuanyuan Award was established in 2013, jointly initiated and organized by the magazine Auto Business Review, an authoritative automobile media outlet in China, and the Austrian consulting company EFS. It invites a comprehensive testing team of global automotive experts to select the Chinese cars of the year.

Since 2020, WEDZ has cooperated with Auto Business Review to host several heavyweight events in the Chinese automotive industry, including the China Auto Blue-Book Forum and China Auto Supply Chain Conference. Since 2021, the Xuanyuan Award ceremony has been held in WEDZ for three consecutive years.

This year's Xuanyuan Award annual evaluation also took place in the zone. In November, 40 car models underwent professional assessments at the Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Testing Field. Ultimately, the top 25 nominated car models stood out and entered the final evaluation.
