At the fifth World New Energy Vehicle Congress held in Haikou on Dec 7, the China Society of Automotive Engineers officially announced the result of the 2023 National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) Test and Demonstration Zone Capability Evaluation.
In the category of "Leading Units in Comprehensive Capability Evaluation", the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Wuhan) Test and Demonstration Zone ranked second. Additionally, in the category of "Units Passing the Enclosed-Field Test Capability Evaluation", the zone was among the top three.
In October of this year, the national smart city infrastructure and ICV coordination pilot work office released the assessment results for the first batch of six pilot cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, and Wuxi. Wuhan scored 87.47 points, ranking second only after Shanghai.
