There are currently seven driverless minibuses operating on the route, provided by Dongfeng USharing Technology Co. They are decorated with typical scenes from historical stories in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
On weekdays, these minibuses provide daily commuting services, while on weekends, they serve as tour buses.
The high-precision positioning allows them to adapt to various complex environments. Different experience projects have also been set up to cater to passengers of all ages. The operating hours of the minibus are from 7 am to 10 pm on weekdays, and from 9 am to 5 pm on weekends and holidays.
The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone has so far opened 660 km of roads for autonomous driving tests, covering an area of 490 sq km.
