The AI sci-tech park of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) was put into operation in November 2021 and is currently home to 188 enterprises, including one listed company, three specialized and sophisticated firms, 22 high-tech corporations, and 67 companies growing at the park's incubators. The park employs more than 1,200 locals.

With the inauguration of a series of smart infrastructures, the park has successfully introduced a group of enterprises leading the nation in autonomous driving.

Two months ago, Wuhan Zhiyun Robot System Co in the park was selected as one of Hubei province's fifth batch of specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises.

With unwavering commitment, the company is dedicated to the research and development of intelligent robots specifically designed for the coating process in the automotive industry. Its cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions have garnered the trust and partnership of renowned clients, including Dongfeng, Volkswagen, and BYD.

"We chose to settle in the sci-tech park for its focus on the intelligent car industrial chain," said a company manager. In addition, the research team of Dongfeng also shared many resources with it.

Three years ago, with the assistance of the park, Zhiyun was identified as a high-tech firm, enabling it to enjoy the tax reduction policy.
