Auto Valley-produced vehicles debut in intl auto show

Starting on May 25, the highly anticipated Central China International Auto Show 2023 kicked off in the bustling city of Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province. The event, which spanned over five days, featured a dazzling display of -new automotive production models from the Wuhan Economic Zone (WEDZ) debuting at the event.

Auto enthusiasts and industry experts alike were treated to an impressive showcase of cutting-edge technology and innovative designs from six State-owned car makers – FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, SAIC, GAC, BAIC – and several private automobile manufacturers, such as BYD, Geely, and Changcheng, as well as emerging automobile companies, including Xpeng, Li Auto and NIO, have showcased their latest products.

VOYAH held a regional launch conference to introduce two new versions of their Zhuiguang electric sedan. They also showcased their third concept car, the i-Cozy, which combines Chinese elegance with future-oriented technologies to provide users with a more intelligent and comfortable transportation experience.

Dongfeng Honda and Dongfeng Nissan, two joint venture brands of Dongfeng, have also exhibited their new energy production models.

The SUV Electre produced in Lotus's Wuhan plant, which is based in WEDZ, also captured people's attention. The company will release three brand-new fully electric production models by 2026, said a staff member from the firm.

From May to June, Wuhan has issued special auto shopping coupons, with the top volume being 8,000 yuan ($1,132).
