A team of staff members from Breton Technology Co – an international leader in the design and production of advanced industrial machines and plants for processing natural stone, ceramic, and metals as well as the development of engineered stone production plants and additive manufacturing – visited the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on April 27 to carry out procurement and design work for its new project in the zone.
The project, with a total investment of over 5 billion yuan ($727.5 million), includes the construction of Breton's engineered vehicle manufacturing base, management headquarters, sales center and settlement center.
In June last year, WEDZ's Intelligent Connected and Electric Vehicle Industrial Park was unveiled, and 21 projects worth 20.47 billion yuan were subsequently brought in, reporting $36.39 million in foreign funds in actual use.
On March 20, the administrative committee of the zone held a meeting on Breton's project, requiring the attendance of government officials from the departments of development and reforms, housing, project examination and approval, water affairs and city management in order to ensure that the project can be launched as soon as possible.
