From Feb 12 to 14, a team of government leaders led by Liu Ziqing, secretary of the working committee of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), visited several State-owned enterprises, foreign firms and leading corporations in Beijing and promoted the zone to them.
Liu talked with Sun Ying, president of the China Construction Technology Consulting Co, which excels in land space planning, construction projects, civil projects and environmental protection. The two sides agreed to sign a strategic cooperation agreement in the near future.
The company's subsidiary was established in WEDZ in 2018, which is currently working on computer-based interactive multimedia projects and constructing new-type infrastructure.
Beijing Capital Group Co is a State-owned enterprise administered by the Beijing government, mainly deals with businesses in environmental protection, city development, finance, culture and sports. It has three listed companies and one listed on the new over-the-counter market.
Liu Ziqing exchanged opinions with He Jiangchuan, chairman of the firm, on investment expansion and possible collaborations on building special business districts in WEDZ.
On Feb 6, the WEDZ business promotion team took the lead in Wuhan to launch business travel in Hong Kong and Macao and signed a cooperation framework contract with Asia Medical (Hong Kong) Co.
From Feb 12 to 16, the team also visited renowned Japanese companies to bring in high-quality projects to the zone.
