The Wuhan Hapii New Energy Vehicle Co was recently founded in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, or WEDZ – located in Wuhan, capital of China's Central Hubei province – marking the third auto parts manufacturing plant being operated by Japan's H-one Group in the city.
Wuhan Hapii New Energy Vehicle Co, which was jointly funded and established by H-one Group's subsidiaries WH Auto Parts Industries Inc and GH Auto Parts Industries Inc, will build a new energy vehicle stamping parts production plant.
In automobile manufacturing, the stamping process is one of the core technologies in automobile stamping, welding, painting and final assembly.
The H-one Group is a leading company in automotive stamping technology. It produces premium quality products that are light weight and safe. It is the main supplier of body structural parts to the Honda Group.
Previously, the H-one Group established WH Auto Parts Industries Inc in Wuhan to supply core components for Dongfeng Honda.
In 2020, WH Auto Parts Industries Inc and Dongfeng Die Stamping Technology Co established Dongfeng Hapii Auto Stamping Co in the WEDZ and introduced lightweight and other manufacturing technologies and new processes to produce auto stamping parts.
