Bookstores are the spiritual lighthouse of a city. Luxun Bookstore & Art Gallery in Junshan New City of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) will officially open to the public in mid-September, according to local news reports on Sept 6.
A librarian at the bookstore said that it has a collection of more than 50,000 books, including classical literature from China and around the world. A reading area and a book-selling area have been built inside the bookstore to meet the diverse needs of readers.
The Luxun Bookstore & Art Gallery is the first branch established by the Beijing Luxun Museum outside Beijing.
