Hubei Xingji Times Technology Co and Hubei Xingji Meizu Holding Co were unveiled in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Sept 2.
The two companies will establish their high-end mobile phone and wearable mobile terminal businesses in the zone and together form a human-auto interactive ecosystem. Meanwhile, they will also extend WEDZ's industrial layout to the field of smart devices.
Xingji Times is dedicated to the research and manufacture of high-end smart phones, extended reality technological products, and wearable smart devices. It set up operations in WEDZ in September 2021 and will set up its global headquarters for 6G smart products there. Construction will soon be launched on the company's next-generation smart mobile device R&D center, which is expected to begin operating in April 2023.
Committed to consumer electronics for nearly 20 years, Meizu is one of the oldest smart phone manufacturers in China. In July, it received investment from Xingji Times, and Xingji Meizu was established for this reason.
