Wuhan Multirad Thermal-Sys Group Co, based in the Wuhan Economic &Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), has been committed to industrial radiator manufacturing for 15 years, with its key products accounting for 60 percent of domestic market share, ranking first in China.
The company has been selected as part of the fourth group of national specialized and new little giant firms.
Founded in 2007, Multirad mainly deals with the research, manufacture and sale of all kinds of power cooling systems and heat exchange systems. "The quality of heat radiators can directly determine the safe operation and service life of the equipment," said Yu Tao, chief engineer of the company, who added that in 2007, most of China's heat radiators were imported from overseas, with each of them costing up to 400,000 yuan ($57,960).
Now the company has achieved the complete domestication of heat radiators, reducing the price per heat radiator to 100,000 yuan or less, Yu said.
Heat radiators produced by the company mainly serve the world's renowned engine manufacturers, including Caterpillar, MTU, and Commins. In addition, Multirad has established long-term partnerships with Alibaba, Tencent, China Telecom and other large-scale data center service providers and internet firms.
