The 2022 top 100 private companies and top 50 private manufacturers in Wuhan were announced on Aug 19. A total of 12 firms based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) made the lists.
These companies included Midea Heating & Ventilating Equipment Co, Gree Electric Appliances Inc, ECARX Intelligence Technology Co and another nine firms involved in home appliances, engineering and construction, automobile spare parts and new materials.
The revenue threshold for the 2022 top 100 private companies in Wuhan was 2.03 billion yuan ($30.2 million). The 11 enterprises in WEDZ that made the list generated a total of 66.58 billion yuan in sales revenue, a year-on-year increase of 95 percent.
The revenue threshold for the 2022 top 50 private manufacturers was 1.12 billion yuan, and the eight local manufacturers (Some firms among the 12 enterprises made both the lists) included in the list produced 43.23 billion yuan in sales revenue.
