Dongfeng Motors Co, based in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, strengthened its cooperation with China Electronics Corporation (CEC) at the Fifth Digital China Summit held on July 23-24 in the city of Fuzhou. According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement they signed, the two sides will work together in automotive chips, cyberspace security and car digitalization.
Dongfeng and CEC will mainly promote the operation of their auto chip and core component projects and sustain efforts to increase the reliability of the chip based on the joint laboratory that has already been established. In addition, CEC will provide relevant automobile supply chain services to Dongfeng.
In cyberspace and digitalization, CEC will offer a series of technological support services to Dongfeng in cyberspace security regulation and equipment safety diagnosis and testing. The two companies will also launch collaborations in the fostering of talent, cloud platforms and data warehouses.
In auto electronics, they will create an automobile system and application solutions consisting of independently developed software and hardware.
