One new material project of Wuhan Textile University was successfully commercialized in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on July 4.
Liu Ziqing, secretary of the zone's working committee, Tang Chao, director of the zone's administrative committee, and high-ranking officials of the university witnessed the signing of the project agreement.
Wechange Technology Co, according to the contract signed, will establish headquarters in WEDZ and set up its second-generation production line in the Junshan entrepreneurship park. The project will provide overall solutions related to liquid filtration, purification and separation for biological and chemical laboratories, biomedicine, electronic manufacturing, food and beverage, and energy chemical engineering.
Tang Chao pointed out that the Wechange project is important to WEDZ's new material industry and expressed hope that the university can further strengthen cooperation with the zone so that more college graduates will conduct research, seek employment and do internships there.
