Generally speaking, a person in charge of a construction project must apply to obtain a land use permit, project designed approval, planning permit for construction projects, and construction work permit one by one only after he or she submits the land transfer contract to the administrative examination and approval bureau.
However, the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone branch of the bureau has coordinated with many departments in housing, construction and environmental protection to simplify about 40 percent of application documents for units involved.
The WEDZ branch of natural resources and planning now shares information with other relevant departments in land supply, taxation, real asset registration, and administrative review when the land transfer contract is signed.
Instead of submitting five applications to two departments, enterprises now only need to submit one application to one department.
