May 19 was China's National Tourism Day. To celebrate it, many locals in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) went hiking at Dajun Mountain, Xiaojun Mountain, Longling Mountain, Shefa Mountain, Zhushan Mountain and Fenghuang Mountain.
Dajun Mountain had been damaged by quarrying activities since the 1980s. After more than 10 years of restoration efforts, the mountain is now filled with a multitude of vegetation. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Junshan New city from the top of the mountain. [Photo provided to en.whkfq.gov.cn]
