Central China Normal University (CCNU) is a key comprehensive university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education and has a long history. It made the "211 National Education Priority Project" list and was included in the "Double First-Class" initiative. It is a first-class professional teacher and talent training and cultivation center.
On April 21, Zhao Lingyun, Party secretary of the university, led a team on a tour of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) and reached consensus with the zone's officials in preliminary education promotion and industrial coordination and innovation.
During the tour, CCNU signed cooperation agreements with Hubei Chinese Online Digital Publishing Co and iFLYTEK Co to jointly build high-quality employment bases for graduates.
Zhao vowed to launch more in-depth dialogues with the zone and Dongfeng Motor Co and cooperate with them in talent training and attraction.
CCNU will reportedly build a future technological innovation research institute and an international education and scientific innovation park in Junshan New City, focus on auto, new materials, new energy, and digital economy, and build a full-fledged professional technology platform and pilot scale experiment base.
Before CCNU, the zone already had many programs underway with Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan University of Technology.
