It was stated at a work meeting held by Hannan district in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on Feb 16 that over the eight years since the district first achieved integrated development with the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, industries and capital have flown into in the district at an accelerated speed, with sectors such as new-energy vehicles, general aviation, high-end manufacturing, AI, and new materials thriving and major projects from Lotus, Xpeng, and other industrial giants established along Shamao Avenue.
This year the government will support related projects along the avenue and build a NEV-sector demonstration zone there.
In addition, authorities will continue focusing on the overall governance of the Maying River, and build a recreational and tourist belt along the river to improve urban functions.
