Wuhan Luhua Edible Oil Co, located in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, is mainly engaged in the production and sale of edible oil, grease and related products.
According to company officials, some 400 metric tons of various types of edible oil are produced by the company and shipped to other places in Hubei province, as well as to surrounding regions such as Hunan province.
Production efficiency was enhanced after the company underwent an intelligent transformation.
Since the completion of the second phase of its factory in 2016, the company has invested some 60 million yuan ($9.29 million) in transformation and automation equipment upgrades.
After intelligent transformation, each of the company's automatic assembly lines increased production capacity by 50 percent, the net utilization rate of production lines has increased by about 13 percent year-on-year, and the company's average annual output and capacity have increased by about 25 percent.
The company has built a 10,000-ton-level edible oil constant-temperature tank storage base as well as two advanced automatic bottle blowing, filling, packaging, and automatic palletizing packaging production lines.
It processes nearly 50,000 tons of peanut oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, corn oil and various blended oils annually, achieving an annual sales income of nearly 600 million yuan.
