The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) now boasts the No 395 intelligent bus installed with the cooperative vehicle infrastructure system (CVIS), independently designed by Wuhan China Communication Transportation Engineering Co and now being tested in the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Wuhan) Pilot Testing Zone.
Founded in 2007, the firm focuses on intelligent transportation and related security issues, and has been recognized as a national little giant enterprise this year.
Roads in the testing zone have been equipped with radars, cameras, and other smart devices that can deliver real-time analysis on information related to vehicles and traffic.
CVIS is expected to elevate the driving experience and safety levels for people behind the wheel.
