Boasting a coastline of 28.1 kilometers along the Yangtze River and a land area as big as 40 square kilometers, the Port Logistics Park in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) currently boasts 47 berths, with millions of containers transported from or to Wuhan through the park.

Industrial parks or clusters established around the park, such as the Caidian Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Xiantao Textile and Clothing Industrial Cluster, all benefit from the park's strong transport capabilities.

The Port Logistics Park in the new era will strive to become a national port logistics hub, set up modern logistics systems, and facilitate the high-quality development of WHDZ.

To be more specific, the park aims to achieve 50 billion yuan($7.5billion) of output value during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), and to achieve 100 billion yuan of output value by 2030.
