Four enterprises based in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province have been selected as part of the third group of national "little giant enterprises," which was released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The four enterprises are Wuhan Tongji Modern Pharmaceutical Technology Co, Wuhan Dongjiang Future Technology Co, Wuhan Yaohua Safety Glass Co, and Hubei Radiatech Auto Cooling System Co.
"Little giant enterprises" are enterprises in the early stages of development in high-end industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials.
They are usually referred to as being "professional, elaborate, distinctive and modern," and are generally characterized by displaying strong business performance, advanced science and technology, a mature management system, strong market competitiveness, and great development potential.
To date, WHDZ is home to four national-level "little giant enterprises" as well as four provincial-level "little giant enterprises".
